The Museum has a small but interesting collection of postal items used during various periods of the long operation of the Hellenic Post. Leather postal bags, postal trumpets and postman uniforms, bicycles and motorcycles, mailboxes, ink pads, many postal stamps (hand stamps), stamping machines, typewriters, postal scales. Given that the Post Office in Greece gradually included the provision of both a telegraph and a telephony service, our collection also includes telephone and telegraphic devices and more everyday items (e.g. clocks) with the TTT logo (Post, Telegraphy, Telephony). The most important exhibit of the Collection is the metal box from the National Mint of Aegina that belonged to Ioannis Kapodistrias. The paper and the ink used for the printing of the banknotes were kept in it.
